Justin is a Logic user so I felt very disabled so my job was to bring loads of samples and presets to get us going so Justin could work his magic. I was also in control of the keyboard which was taken from me a few times after I got too carried away with the pitch bend bar on the Korg Monoglogue.

I've just moved house and that means a new studio setup. I've rented multiple studios over the years but have never loved it. I hated travelling to 'work' and I much prefer having the studio in my house so I can quickly jump in and out of projects when I feel creative. I also wanted to show off how humble my setup is and maybe bring some peoples idea of a full time musicians set up down to earth. I still have the same speakers I bought back in 2021 (although one is currently being fixed), and if you remove the acoustic treatment and the synths, I'm sure we all have the same setup. Either way, here's a timelapse of the process and a short walkthrough at the end.
Easily my favourite synth purchase, this thing ends up sounding different every time I turn it on. The LFO, delay and feedback section are insanely fun for creating weird rhythmic loops perfect for atmospherics, leads and FXs. In this session I jam around for a while and then show you how I would approach dissecting the sample into even more unique sounds and samples.
