SPLICE SAMPLE PACK TRACK BREAKDOWN
I am excited to announce a new sample pack coming out for Test Press & Splice. Over 600 samples and 50 Serum presets makes it my biggest pack ever. I sketched out 16 bars using only samples and presets from my pack and breakdown the ins and outs of how I would approach creating something new and original with it.
I started an idea the other morning and hit record for the second sweep trying to flesh out the main idea, lead hook, intro and progression. I didn't get as far as I wanted but not every session can be really successful so here's some reality of how the creative process works.
We had a lot of fun putting this one together just messing about with layers and layers of variations compiled into one rowdy tune
AMOSS & MINOR FORMS - STUDIO SESSION
Your chance to be a fly on the wall as myself and Justin work through a new track. This video is more about showing our dynamic in the studio and less about the technicals of what we're doing. Justin is a Logic user so I felt very disabled so my job was to bring loads of samples and presets to get us going so Justin could work his magic. I was also in control of the keyboard which was taken from me a few times after I got too carried away with the pitch bend bar on the Korg Monoglogue.
